Make Care Packages

  • The care package should contain all essential items humans need on a daily-basis

  • For example, tooth brush, toothpaste, hair/body wash, deodorant, etc.

  • Once you’re confident you’ve acquired all the essentials, consider adding extra items such as a notebook and pens or a no-sew fleece blanket

  • Organizations will likely provide a list of essential items, as well as a list of items that would be nice—though not required—to include as part of the care package

Canned Food Drive

  • Host your own drive or participate in someone else’s—neither require much, if any, interaction with others in-person

  • Super easy for anyone to participate (if you can, that is)

  • For example, many of us have at least one can that has been sitting in the pantry with zero intention of ever being used, so don’t let it go to waste!

  • Instead of immediately trashing it, see if it is applicable to be donated to a local food drive

Make Dog Toys

  • Repurpose old, unusable t-shirts for your cute neighborhood pups

  • Make an eco-friendly chewing toy or tug-of-war rope that will last a surprising amount of wear and tear

  • Super easy and requires very few supplies or craft skills
